Rose Bay LAC is located on the southern foreshores of Sydney Harbour. It contains the suburbs of Darling Point, Edgecliff, Woollahra, Double Bay, Point Piper, Rose Bay, Bellevue Hill, Vaucluse, Watsons Bay, Dover Heights and parts of Paddington and Rushcutters Bay. The LAC is bordered by the Kings Cross, Surry Hills and Eastern Suburbs LAC’s.
The area contains some of the most significant heritage areas and buildings in Sydney along with large parkland areas. In addition to these, there are a number of commercial retail areas, in particular Double Bay, Ocean St (Woollahra) and Rose Bay.
Rose Bay LAC contains a number of consulates and consulate residences. The LAC also contains high end residential real estate and demographic figures indicate that the majority of the LAC is inhabited by professional, high income earners.
